Hello :) I hope life has been treating you well lately! Especially with finals in it's midst. I'm writing because I'm in the process of making a list of books that I plan to read this summer, and I would love some great recommendations from you, if you have the time, of course. You were one of the first people to come to mind to ask. I'm trying to stray away from contemporary novels this summer. So far, I have 1984, A Room of One's Own, The Sun Also Rises, and Pride & Prejudice on it. Thoughts?

Hello there! I’ve been well thank you. And I hope the same for you. As far as finals are concerned, I finished my ‘final’ one last Thursday.
I love book suggestions, and I’m flattered someone would come to me for some. I’ll look through my bookshelf and see what I can drum up for you. Though, off the top of my head the first book I think is in fact contemporary.
Have you ever read any Tom Robbins?
Secondly I would point you towards my personal favorite, John Steinbeck. Something easier to go through; Of Mice and Men or The red pony, until you are sure of yourself. Then move on to East Of Eden or something prolific like that. Ultimately I would hope you came to my namesake; Junius Maltby.
